Engagement Type & Contact Information

Tell us how you're engaging with Ridgeline Advisory and how we reach you. This determines which agreement framework applies to your engagement.

Section 02 of 06

Business Context

Industry classification, size, and ownership context. You are responsible for providing the NAICS code that most accurately reflects your primary business activity. This classification anchors your benchmark comparison.

NAICS Code. Your NAICS code is your industry classification as defined by the U.S. Census Bureau. If you are unsure of your code, use the official lookup tool at census.gov/naics before submitting. You are attesting to its accuracy. Ridgeline Advisory will flag any apparent mismatch between your submitted NAICS code and the business activity described, and will request confirmation before analysis proceeds.
Section 03 of 06

Financial Documents

Check every document you will submit. Your Data Completeness Index (DCI) is calculated from your selections and determines your analysis tier and pricing. Ridgeline Advisory analyzes only documents you submit — nothing is estimated or assumed.

Timeline & Capital Event Status

Your requested turnaround and any active capital events determine whether standard or expedited pricing applies. Expedited conditions are defined objectively — see below.

Section 05 of 06

Scope Acknowledgments & Confidentiality Agreement

Read and individually acknowledge each item below. Your typed signature constitutes a binding digital attestation. Full engagement clients will execute a formal MOU via DocuSign prior to engagement commencement.

Note for Full Engagement Clients: The attestations below establish foundational mutual agreements applicable to all Ridgeline Advisory engagements. A formal Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) covering full engagement terms — scope, deliverables, fees, IP ownership, and dispute resolution — will be executed via DocuSign prior to the commencement of your full RTR Capital Readiness engagement.
I — Mutual Confidentiality
Client Confidentiality Commitment. I understand that all financial documents, business information, and related materials submitted to Ridgeline Advisory will be held in strict confidence. Ridgeline Advisory will not disclose submitted information to any third party without my explicit written consent, except as required by law. Ridgeline Advisory's confidentiality obligation applies to all submitted documents, findings, and business information regardless of engagement type or outcome.
Ridgeline Advisory Methodology Protection. I agree that the Ridgeline Advisory analytical framework, report formats, Four Lens Cash Flow methodology, Capital Readiness Assessment structure, benchmark frameworks, and all proprietary tools and processes are the intellectual property of Ridgeline Advisory. I will not reproduce, share, or represent these materials to third parties without Ridgeline Advisory's written consent. This includes but is not limited to: report formats, scoring methodologies, Capital Readiness Archetypes, and the RTR Assessment framework.
Findings Confidentiality. I agree to treat all findings, recommendations, flag designations, and advisory outputs produced by Ridgeline Advisory as confidential business information. I will not share Ridgeline Advisory reports or findings with capital providers, lenders, investors, or in any transaction context without independent professional verification by a licensed CPA, financial advisor, or attorney. Ridgeline Advisory reports are advisory tools, not audited financial statements, and are not intended for direct presentation in capital transactions without independent professional review.
II — Document Accuracy & Provenance
Accuracy Representation. I represent and warrant that all financial documents submitted for this analysis are accurate, complete, and true copies of my business's actual financial records. I have not materially altered, fabricated, or selectively modified any submitted document, except as disclosed in the Known Context field of this form. Ridgeline Advisory's analysis is only as reliable as the documents submitted. Material inaccuracies in submitted documents limit or void the reliability of analysis and do not constitute grounds for dispute of advisory fees.
Material Disclosure. I have disclosed all known material anomalies, one-time events, ownership changes, restatements, litigation, or other contextual factors that may affect interpretation of submitted financials in the Known Context field of this form. I understand that failure to disclose material information may affect the accuracy of the analysis.
NAICS Classification Responsibility. I am responsible for the accuracy of the NAICS code I have provided. I understand that benchmark comparisons in my analysis will be anchored to the NAICS code I selected, and that misclassification may affect the relevance of benchmark comparisons. Ridgeline Advisory will flag apparent mismatches and request confirmation before finalizing analysis.
III — Scope Limitations & Professional Standards
Not an Audit or Attestation. I understand that the Ridgeline Advisory Financial Analysis is an advisory review, not an audit, compilation, or review engagement under professional accounting standards (GAAS or SSARS). It does not constitute financial advice, investment advice, tax advice, or legal advice. It does not replace my CPA, financial advisor, or attorney. Ridgeline Advisory is a pre-diligence advisory practice. Our work is capital-adjacent, not capital-responsible.
Benchmark Transparency. I understand that financial benchmarks used in my analysis are derived from publicly available U.S. government data sources (IRS Statistics of Income, U.S. Census Bureau, Federal Reserve) with a publication lag of 2–3 years. Where actual quartile data is unavailable, Lower and Upper Quartile values are statistical approximations. Benchmarks are reference points for comparison, not absolute standards or pass/fail thresholds. Benchmark sources and publication years are cited in every report. I may independently verify any benchmark at the source URLs provided.
Scope Limited to Submitted Documents. I understand that Ridgeline Advisory analyzes only the financial documents I submit. No assumptions are made about periods, line items, or data not present in submitted documents. Missing documents are noted and affect the depth of analysis available.
Owner Compensation Assessment. I understand that any owner compensation assessment in my analysis is a categorical estimation (Under Market / At Market / Over Market) based on Bureau of Labor Statistics national averages for the occupation category I selected. This assessment does not constitute a formal compensation study and does not adjust for geography, company size, or specialization. CPA confirmation is required before use in any capital conversation.
IV — Pricing, Credit & Expedited Terms
Apply-Toward-Engagement Credit. I understand that 100% of the standard tier fee for this analysis may be applied toward a full Ridgeline Advisory engagement if I engage within 90 days of report delivery. The apply-toward credit applies to the standard tier rate only — expedited surcharges are service delivery costs and are not creditable toward a future engagement.
Digital Signature — Attestation of Agreement
